Abbey has called Topeka home for over 25 years, and loves living, playing and working in this community! Abbey moved around growing up, and 25+ years ago, she met her husband and business partner Wade. They didn’t expect to stay in Topeka, but both love Topeka and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Abbey is the proud mother of two children. Reghan, is a KU School of Nursing Graduate. Reghan is currently employed at KU Med on the Neuro ICU Unit, and going back to school to earn her Nurse Practitioner license. Rayce graduated from Washburn Rural High School, and recently passed his real estate exam, and will be working in the family business. A lover of all animals, the Wostal family has 3 dogs and 2 kitties. In 2005, Wade began his career as a Realtor®, in 2015 Abbey joined Wade, and became a Realtor®– creating “Team Wostal.” We grew a small team of fantastic agents, and Jan of 2018 had the opportunity to partner with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wostal Realty, and open our own real estate office. Over the years, we have presented various assets to our clients. We have remodeled several homes, sold some of those, and still own quite a few. Our tenants are the best! Previous to joining Wade in Real Estate, Abbey had over seven years’ experience in mortgage lending and banking. Abbey started by overseeing the mortgage departments, then moved into commercial lending. After some time there, she was then hired to help train and mentor fellow staff on the subject of how to be an effective salesperson. Abbey is a “Leadership Greater Topeka” graduate, and was a part of the best class ever, 2010. Abbey loves to dive into spreadsheets and analyze data. She is a Right Track Leader Graduate, class of 2022. She has served on the Sunflower Association of Realtors® Board of Directors since 2019, and was President in 2022. Abbey believes and carries out the mindset of, “the best salespeople don’t really sell”. In turn, the best salespeople meet and exceed customers’ expectations. She believes in the importance of educating yourself daily, and working to continually grow within your career and industry.
